Extra is one of the store chains owned by the cooperative Coop Norge and formerly Coop Norden AB, and was Coop’s second joint Nordic chain. The first store was opened on September 15, 2006 in Halden. Extra is led by chain director Daniel Kyrre Pedersen. The concept is a supermarket with fresh produce and specialty goods.
